GAL Hassin – International Center for Astronomical Sciences

The Hassin GAL was born in Isnello, in the heart of the Madonie mountains, as a center where astrophysics research, teaching and dissemination come together.

But the Hassin GAL is not just research. There are kids who, from the youngest to the oldest, constitute its lifeblood and one of the objectives of the GAL Hassin is to arouse interest in astrophysics and science in the new generations, together with curiosity towards knowledge, providing a small but important contribution to building their future. This is the challenge that we try to overcome every day, in direct contact with schools and through teaching that is as innovative as possible. A challenge that sees us involved, even with the vast public, open to curiosity, beauty and culture.

This is the Hassin GAL: a combination of research and dissemination.
