Zafferana Etnea Planetarium

It is the largest planetarium in Sicily (10 meters in diameter) and one of the largest in Italy, created and managed by the Friends of the Earth association
The educational-scientific paths presented at the Zafferana Planetarium, suitable for any age or school cycle, “range” from the movements of the earth, to the constellations of the zodiac up to the understanding of the most complex celestial phenomena such as the famous black holes or the theories on the birth and the expansion of the universe. The “live” lesson conducted by an expert is always followed by the screening of a spectacular and entertaining film chosen from among those most suitable for the audience present.
